One of the foremost providers of Virtual Sports games across the world today, Inspired Entertainment, has announced that it has signed a contract with US-based fantasy sports and sports betting service DraftKings to bring its full suite of Virtual Sports games to the provider.Inspired Entertainment

The deal comes just a few days after Inspired also announced a similar deal with online slots and casino games provider Microgaming in order to start offering its Virtual Sports offering alongside Microgaming’s extensive list of games, in casinos that offer Microgaming products.

DraftKings to utilize V-Play Plug & Play

As part of the deal with DraftKings, the company will be able to use Inspired’s own V-Play Plug & Play service in order to speedily ensure that the DraftKings site can access the full range of Inspired’s Virtual Sports betting services.
This process rapidly speeds up the ability for DraftKings to offer Virtual Sports betting services from Inspired on its site and means that the company will have rapid access to a current total of 14 different Virtual Sports services.

Sports such as Virtual Football, Virtual American Football, Virtual Greyhounds and Virtual Horse Racing will be amongst the sports that are to be made available to DraftKings customers based in New Jersey across both desktop and mobile devices.

With the integration using V-Play Plug & Play expected to be very quick, it should be a matter of days, rather than weeks or months before the first Inspired Virtual Sports games are up and running on the site.

“Advanced Portfolio of Virtual Sports”

After confirming the deal with DraftKings, the Chief Operating Officer of Inspired Entertainment, Brooks Pierce, stated:
“We are very excited to team up with DraftKings to bring Virtual Sports to their passionate fans. Not only do we have the largest and most advanced portfolio of Virtual Sports, we tailor our products to sports fanatics with a combination of fast-paced action, ultra-realistic player simulations and tremendous breadth of bet types. We are looking forward to working with DraftKings on bringing a continual stream of betting content to their customer base, especially at this time when there is limited live sports [betting] content available.”

V-Play NFL and Basketball Included

Perhaps of most interest to DraftKings users will be the news that two of Inspired’s most eagerly awaited new products will be part of the deal. V-Play NFLA Legends Football, which features a host of former NFL stars that are not part of the National Football League Alumni organisation, as well as V-Play Basketball are both expected to be amongst the most in demand Virtual Sports when available on the DraftKings site.

The NFLA Legends Football game features 11 teams of former NFL superstars battling it out against each other across a series of randomly selected single games.

The V-Play Basketball game utilises real-life action filmed by Inspired using a number of different teams and players, which has then been integrated into the game. Filming used a mix of real-life action combined with green-screen technology to allow Inspired to add CGI to the finished product, which also allows partners to personalise the product with their own logos and name.

Virtual Sports is expected to be available to New Jersey customers of DraftKings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
