Microgaming Set To Add Unikrn’s Esports Aggregation Platform

Microgaming has recently announced that it will be adding Unikrn’s Esports betting portal to its aggregation platform after finalizing a distribution agreement with the Esports operator; a move that sees Microgaming entering the Esports world for the first time.

According to the report put out by Microgaming, the deal will see Unikrn’s Esports betting product – known as Unikrn Virtual – made available to more than 800 of Microgaming’s customers, and will allow players to place real-money wagers on a plethora of popular Esports events including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, NBA2K and Rocket League.

A New Offering For Microgaming Customers

It’s a big move for Microgaming, and Leon Thomas – the Commercial Director at the online gambling giant – said: “Microgaming has a rich history of product innovation and development, and we are constantly exploring new avenues to deliver unique content that raises the bar of entertainment. Unikrn has a strong reputation for delivering innovative esports gaming experiences that capture the attention of players around the world, and we firmly believe the addition of their esports product will allow us to bring something special to the market.”

We also heard from Rahul Sood, one of the co-founders of Unikrn, who said: “When I left my position as CEO of Microsoft Ventures, it was to create something unprecedented. Unikrn Virtual is a never-ending well of exclusive content that will change the betting landscape. With our Microgaming partnership, I’m excited to access Microgaming’s network and global reach.”
