UEFA Champions League betting odds

The Champions League returns this week and we’re sure that virtual sports betting fans are just as excited as we are to see the latest UEFA Championship League betting odds. We’ll take a closer look at the four games involving the giants of the English Premier League here for you.

Liverpool vs Ajax

Premier League champions Liverpool currently top Group D with nine points from their four games so far. On Tuesday night, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds welcome second-placed Ajax to Anfield for a game that could see the home side seal the top spot in the group. If they beat Ajax then the Reds will qualify for the knock-out stages. If Atalanta, who surprisingly beat Liverpool at Anfield in the last round of matches, fail to beat Danish club FC Midtjylland tomorrow, and Klopp’s men win, the Reds will top the group.

Betway have made Liverpool strong favourites to beat Ajax, with the Reds priced at 1.65 on the 1X2 market to win tomorrow night. Odds of 2.70 on Liverpool winning and both teams scoring also look pretty tempting to us. We can’t see Ajax producing the victory they need to head off Atalanta’s challenge for second spot in the group.

Porto vs Manchester City

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will be looking to secure top spot in Group C when they travel to Portugal on Tuesday. A victory for City will see them seal first place in the group, but Porto can also make sure that they qualify for the second phase if they at least draw with City. The Portuguese can still seal qualification even if they lose, though, if Olympiacos fail to beat Marseille in the group’s other game.
This game looks like a draw to us – a result that might well suit both teams. Bet365 are offering odds of 4.10 on the 1X2 market for the game ending all square. That looks like a good bet to us.Our prediction is that the final scoreline will be 1-1. You can back that outcome at odds of 8.0 at Bet365 if you want to take advantage of the latest UEFA Championship League betting odds on this game.

Manchester United vs Paris Saint-Germain

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils need just a point from their last two games to cement their place in the last 16 of the Champions League. United have won three of their four games in Group H so far, one more than PSG. Inconsistency has been a problem for them, though – they won against the odds in Paris and also thrashed RB Leipzig 5-0, but lost to Istanbul Basaksehir in a real shock.

That means nothing can be taken for granted at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening. United may only need a point from their last two games, but those games are against teams who made the final and semi-final last season. PSG also need to win to make sure of reaching the knockout phase. Bet365 are offering odds of 9.50 on the French team winning 2-1, and that looks like a good bet to us.

Sevilla vs Chelsea

Both of these teams have identical records in Group E, but it is Chelsea who top the group thanks to their vastly superior goal difference. Both sides are already through to the last 16, so there is less riding on this game than the others we have previewed here. Victory will go some way towards an easier draw for the last 16, however, so the teams will be keen to win.

We’re predicting a draw for this game, with 1-1 looking a likely outcome to us. You can back that result at odds of 6.50 at Betway. Odds of 4.33 on the game ending in a score draw also look pretty good.
