World Cup Odds Winners Favorites

Brazil are the World Cup odds winners in the outrights market and could end up with the title too.

The final round of group stage fixtures will be played this week, and we will find out which nations go through to the last 16 and which ones return home. In this piece, we will look at how teams have performed so far, and look at the World Cup Odds winners in the outrights market.

Apart from a few predictable results, there have also been upsets at the World Cup so far. It may be too soon to pick the best FIFA World Cup team, but only a few are in contention for that title – at the moment, Brazil are the World Cup betting favorites.

There are several online sports betting opportunities at the moment that can give you a good shot at wagering on these teams – we recommend you read our Bet365 review alongside our primer on the BC.GAME sports betting platform to open up multiple options for yourself.

As things stand, only two of the top-five ranked teams and three teams overall are through to the Round of 16, with the two best World Cup odds winner figures assigned to Brazil (+250), France (+550).

Brazil are well placed to go on to be the best FIFA World Cup team this year. The Canarinho are without their talisman Neymar but still managed to grab a knockouts spot with two back-to-back group stage wins. With a wealth of attacking options as well as a defense that faced very little trouble, Brazil sealed a record 17th group game in a row without defeat earlier this week; at this point in time, perhaps the only way you don’t consider Brazil to be automatic favorites to win is if you’re indulging in a bet on virtual football, where an RNG might provide parity.

Defending champions France, one of three sides that have confirmed their knockout round spot, are the only other team who look like they’re in the vicinity of being favorites, but their depleted roster will be a question mark later on in the tournament.

There are other contenders, of course, but they have looked shaky – Argentina (+800) and Belgium (+6600) suffered shock defeats, while England (+1000) also dropped a couple of points. Portugal (+1100), the other team to have sealed qualification to the next round, are good dark horses at that value, but for those spending money today, there’s no looking past Brazil.
